JYFN TERMS OF SERVICE
OVERVIEW
Welcome to Just Your Friendly Neighbor (“JYFN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). JYFN operates this website and online store and provides custom apparel, ready-made merchandise, printing services, and related products and services (collectively, the “Services”).
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Return & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and any other policies posted on our website, describe the terms that apply when you access our website, place an order, submit artwork, or otherwise use our Services.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
SECTION 1 — ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.
When placing an order or otherwise using our Services, you may be asked to provide information including your name, email address, billing information, shipping information, and payment information.
You agree that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
SECTION 2 — PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT REPRESENTATION
We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe our products and services.
However, colors, garment appearance, print placement, sizing, and other visual details may vary slightly from photographs, digital mockups, or artwork displayed on a screen. Screen settings, garment manufacturing variations, printing processes, and other factors can affect the final appearance.
Mockups are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the finished product and may not represent exact scale, color, or placement.
Product descriptions, availability, garment options, colors, sizes, pricing, and other details may be changed or discontinued at any time.
We may limit quantities or availability of products or services when reasonably necessary.
SECTION 3 — ORDERS
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase products or services from JYFN.
We reserve the right to accept, decline, modify, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including because of product availability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, artwork concerns, production limitations, or other circumstances affecting our ability to complete the order.
Payment must be successfully processed before an order can be completed unless JYFN has expressly agreed to another arrangement.
Please carefully review sizes, colors, quantities, garment selections, spelling, artwork, shipping information, and other order details before submitting or approving an order.
Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
SECTION 4 — CUSTOM ORDERS AND ARTWORK
Custom and personalized orders may require artwork approval before production begins.
You are responsible for reviewing all artwork proofs carefully, including spelling, names, dates, colors, placement, quantities, and other requested details.
Once artwork has been approved and production has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
By providing JYFN with photographs, artwork, logos, trademarks, names, graphics, or other materials for use on a custom product, you represent that you own the materials or have permission or other legal authority necessary for JYFN to reproduce them for your order.
You grant JYFN the limited permission necessary to reproduce, resize, format, print, or otherwise use submitted materials solely as reasonably necessary to fulfill your order.
JYFN may decline an order when we reasonably believe submitted material may violate applicable law or the rights of another person or organization.
Custom and personalized orders are subject to the additional conditions stated in our Return & Refund Policy.
SECTION 5 — CUSTOMER-PROVIDED GARMENTS
When JYFN agrees to print on garments or other items supplied by a customer, the customer acknowledges that printing and heat application involve production processes that may occasionally result in damage despite reasonable care.
JYFN is not responsible for pre-existing defects, incorrect sizing, garment quality, manufacturer defects, or other problems inherent in customer-provided garments.
Printing on customer-provided garments is performed at the customer's risk.
SECTION 6 — PRICES AND BILLING
Prices may change without notice. The price applicable to an order is generally the price displayed or otherwise agreed upon when the order is placed.
Unless otherwise stated, prices may not include applicable taxes, shipping, or other charges.
Promotions, discounts, or special offers may have additional terms and may be changed or discontinued as permitted by law.
You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information and represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
SECTION 7 — PRODUCTION TIME
Most JYFN products are made to order.
Unless otherwise stated, please allow approximately 3–5 business days for production after an order is confirmed and, when applicable, artwork is approved.
Weekends and holidays are not included in production time.
Production times are estimates and may occasionally change because of order volume, garment availability, equipment issues, supplier delays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Shipping transit time begins after production is completed.
Selecting an expedited shipping method does not automatically shorten production time.
SECTION 8 — SHIPPING AND LOCAL MEET-UP
Available shipping methods, current shipping prices, estimated transit times, and free-shipping thresholds are displayed at checkout and/or described in our Shipping Policy.
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays and other circumstances outside JYFN's control may affect delivery.
When tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after shipment.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Contact JYFN as soon as possible if an address needs to be corrected. Changes cannot be guaranteed after an order has shipped.
FREE local meet-up may be available at checkout for customers within eligible Richmond-area ZIP codes.
Local meet-up does not mean that customers should travel to JYFN's business or mailing address. When an order is ready, JYFN will contact the customer to arrange a mutually convenient meet-up location.

SECTION 9 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, JYFN's original website content, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, product designs, text, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to JYFN and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants permission to reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit JYFN-owned content without permission.
Third-party names, logos, trademarks, artwork, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
SECTION 10 — OPTIONAL TOOLS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Certain features of our Services may be provided through Shopify or other third-party service providers.
Third-party tools and services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. JYFN is not responsible for third-party websites, services, or content outside our reasonable control.
If our website contains links to third-party websites, accessing those websites is at your discretion.
SECTION 11 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Just Your Friendly Neighbor is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Just Your Friendly Neighbor.
By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Just Your Friendly Neighbor, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services.
You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Just Your Friendly Neighbor to the extent permitted by applicable law.
SECTION 12 — PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because our store is powered by Shopify, certain information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers that help operate our store, process payments, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, provide analytics, or otherwise support the Services.

SECTION 13 — FEEDBACK AND REVIEWS
If you voluntarily submit reviews, feedback, suggestions, or other content to JYFN, you represent that you have the right to submit that material.
You grant JYFN permission to use, reproduce, display, and share such feedback for reasonable business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.
Feedback must not violate another person's intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights or contain unlawful or malicious material.
SECTION 14 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally, information on our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping charges, transit times, or other information.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders when reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
If an order is canceled after payment because of an error on our part, any applicable refund will be issued to the original payment method.
SECTION 15 — PROHIBITED USES
You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.
You may not use the Services to violate applicable laws; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; transmit malicious software; commit fraud; impersonate another person; interfere with website security; collect another person's personal information without authorization; or engage in conduct intended to disrupt or misuse the Services.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Services when we reasonably determine that these Terms have been violated.
SECTION 16 — TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services when reasonably necessary, including in response to violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful conduct, threats to website security, or misuse of the Services.
Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual-property provisions, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limitations of liability—will continue to apply.
SECTION 17 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that our website will always operate without interruption or error.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
SECTION 18 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JYFN and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
SECTION 19 — INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold JYFN harmless from third-party claims, damages, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or materials you provide to JYFN that infringe another person's rights.
SECTION 20 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed as necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
SECTION 21 — WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
These Terms, together with the policies and other terms referenced on our website, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and purchases from JYFN, except where a separate written agreement expressly applies.
SECTION 22 — ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
JYFN may transfer its rights or obligations in connection with a sale, restructuring, transfer, or other lawful change involving the business, subject to applicable law.
SECTION 23 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and your use of the Services are governed by applicable United States federal law and the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
SECTION 24 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our Services, policies, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
The current version will be posted on our website. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
